International port logistics company ISO Ltd has been selected as the preferred operator for Kawerau’s planned container terminal.

Participants in this year’s Kawerau King of the Mountain race have the chance to purchase limited-edition singlets and t-shirts, thanks to former Eastern Bay photographer Jason Wright.

This year’s Kawerau Christmas in the Park will feature top local acts Made Alive, soloist Nikau Chater, The Hine Kingi band, Zumba Fitness, Putauaki Primary School kapa haka and TJ Taotua (Auckland-based rhythm and blues line-up), with more acts to be announced.

Composer and pianist Carol Doy, Kiwi rhythm and blues band Ardijah, singer/beatboxer Beau Monga (2015 NZ X Factor winner), soul singer Whirimako Black and kapa haka group Toka Tu will wow audiences at this year’s Kawerau Christmas in the Park on Saturday, December 17.
