Responsible to the Chief Executive Officer for the transparent, efficient and effective planning, implementation and delivery of Council communications and engagement. The purpose of communications and engagement is to ensure that Council ably meets its obligations as local government to ensure Tangata Whenua Iwi, stakeholders and the community are involved in decision-making.
Responsible to the Chief Executive Officer for the implementation of Council's housing strategy - comprising the planning, construction and delivery of residential developments. These developments comprise: Porritt Glade Lifestyle Village, Central Cove and the spec bulid at Hine Te Ariki Place and Bell Street. Includes responsibility for the planning and construction, and sales enquiries and transactions of the Council-owned retirement village, Porritt Glade Lifestyle Village.
