During the 2016/17 year Council undertook a programme to upgrade the Maurie Kjar Swimming Pool Complex.

The first stage was the changing rooms, which were completed in August 2016.

This was followed by the children’s splash pad, completed in March 2017, which has been hugely popular.

The final stage of this project was the upgrade to the barbeque area, which has now now been successfully completed.

The pool complex is a wonderful asset for the district and is very popular.
