Kawerau District Council extends a warm welcome to Dean Lye as the new Group Manager, Operations and Services.

Council officially welcomed Dean to the organisation on Monday March 18, with a Mihi Whakatau in the Council Chamber from Council’s Cultural Advisor Te Haukakawa Te Rire and Her Worship Mayor Faylene Tunui with attendance by the senior leadership team and some 40 members of staff, many of whom are in the operations and services team.

Dean started work with the Council on March 18 and takes on the role from the acting group manager role Riaan Nel, council’s engineering manager.
