Final results have been received as of 17 October 2025 and here is the Declaration of Results. Congratulations to the Mayor-Elect Faylene Tunui and Councillors-Elect as follows:
1. Final Results – Friday, 17 October 2025
The final election results have been tallied including the special votes.
Preliminary Results – Sunday, 12 October
These results include all the votes that have been hand-delivered on election morning (11 Oct) and processed by our Electoral Officer Dale Ofsoske and team at Independent Election Services.
Progress Results – Saturday, 11 October
The progress results, are likely to reflect approximately 90% of the votes cast by our community. All of the Kawerau candidates will be advised of these progress results when they are received. Following which, the progress results will be published on the Council website.
