Whakatane Bird Show 2008

In the middle of the last century, the Whakatane Bird Club was amalgamated with the Poultry and Pigeon Club.   In the early 1950's the Whakatane Cage Bird Club was formed as a separate club.  The club began holding shows in various halls around the town.   In 2003 the club changed its name again to the current name of Whakatane Bird Club.
