Erica's Excited

about The Honeymoon by Violet Winspear. After Jorja Norman’s sister, Angelica, betrays Renzo Talmonte he decides to exact his revenge by forcing Jorja to marry him before Angelica can come back to him. Jorja agrees and marries Renzo against her fathers’ wishes only to save her father the heartache of finding out the truth about his beloved Angelica and her lifestyle. Now as you all know this is not my usual type of book, but I really like this story and have read it numerous times. What I enjoy most about this book is the way it ends. And that is where I will stop to encourage you to read it for yourself! Located in Romance Fiction (Win).

the Ancient Aztec (National Geographic Investigates) by Tim Cooke. Let the archaeologists take you on an exciting journey back to the 13th century as they uncover artifacts from a lost civilization and use science to try and piece together the lives and culture of the Aztec people. I’m a huge fan of National Geographic and enjoyed the simplicity of this book. Each page is filled with amazing facts and brief but detailed descriptions of everything from landmarks to lifestyles, crafts to construction, all brought to life in this fabulous book. Whether you’re researching or passing the time, this informative book is a must. Located in Junior Non Fiction (J972.01).

Ramona Raves

about The Lady Elizabeth by Alison Weir for an enjoyable history read. We all know the story of Queen Elizabeth I but this book looks at her life in detail before she became Queen. I enjoyed reading about how she was treated dependent on who was controlling the country at the time and it is a fascinating look at life for women in 16th Century England.
