Kawerau District Council is the driver licensing agent for AA Express and offers a range of services including vehicle registration, exemptions, road user charges, changes of ownership, driver licensing etc.

Booking of facilities
Enquiries regarding the booking of Council-owned facilities such as the Town Hall, Concert Chambers and Recreation Centre or any of our Parks and Reserves may be made by calling (07) 306 9009.

Submissions on draft documents
When Council is seeking submissions on draft documents, there is a special email address provided: Please include your email address so that Council can contact you when necessary.
Alternatively, you can use the office address or the postal address to deliver your submission.

Please note: All applicants must complete the Application for Employment (125 kB) form, and submit it as part of their application.
Documents provided as attachments on emails should be in PDF or Microsoft Word format. Applicants who do not have access to Microsoft Office are strongly urged to convert their documents to PDFs before emailing them in, or to provide them in hard-copy. There are a number of free PDF-creation apps available on the internet, and Google Docs has an option to convert its documents to PDF or to Word format.
Completed documents may be scanned and emailed to, or delivered to the District Office at the above address, by post or hand delivery.
